Kasongo Musanga (RIP)

This is Isaac Musanga, brother of Kasongo who started this blog.

It is with great sadness I tell you of Kasongo's untimely death. Kasongo was killed in a car accident two months ago. I have been grieving too much to write about it.

This is a tragedy I cannot recover from. I don't know if I can continue his work on this blog. Maybe later I can do something. I am too sad now, thank you all for supporting this blog for the past times.

    I am shocked and saddened by such terrible news. My sympathies to you and the rest of your family. I did not know Kasongo Musanga personally, but from his writing I know him to be a scholar and a visionary. I will certainly miss his voice and knowledge. May he rest in peace.

    Bro, I fully understand your grief. The pain is deep and long lasting. Like you, I lost my brother in February this year and didn't know how to move on without him. However time heals and as a headstone in Ireland reads..."Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.” May you be strengthened!

    Receive my sincerest condolences. He enriched my musical life on the web and enabled me to listen to classics that I had forgotten and others that I thought were gone forever. May the Lord give your strength brother.

    Aaaaagh! What this bad news; Kasongo Musanga will be remembered in my music carrier; he caught up my thirst when it comes to Congolese music, he enriched my musical hobby and taking me back in those old good memories.

    What double tragic hits in Musanga's family,it is very near to the moment you lost your father, this is shocking and saddening.

    May the Lord give your strength and plant Kasongo's enthusiasm in making this blog MOVE FORWARD

    I am so sorry to hear this horrible news. I wish you and your family all the best. I am reminded of Franco himself. There is a picture of Franco in Francophonic Vol. 2 sitting in a chair on stage with OK Jazz, too weak to play. It was such a sad ending for a man who brought joy to so many people.

    The same is true for your brother.

    I am terribly shocked to read this - so soon after you lost your dear father who inspired this blog. What terrible news (even though it is 18 months ago it is still terrible news).
    I send you all my love.
    I imagine that every time you listen to Franco, if you still do, you just cry, the music is so tied up with your brother and your father. I really feel for you.
    We all have to die and some are called early. It's a terrible thing. All we have are the memories and their legacy. This blog is undoubtedly a major legacy to leave behind and I speak for all readers to thank you and your family for bringing us Franco.
